The K-27 has been designed for operational reliability with enhanced electrical pickup, a minimum operating radius of 18" and realistic slow speed operation. The die-cast construction provides excellent detail and each engine includes over 100 hand-placed parts. There are 12 different variations - take a look at them all! Notice the unique details, such as handrail locations, number boards, cabs, tender style, headlights and ladders. All have detailed cab interior and genuine Kadee No. 714 Couplers. Even the lettering was painstakingly researched - position and fonts of the logos vary from locomotive to locomotive as appropriate to the prototype practice of the day. The K-27 is equipped with a state-of-the-art SoundTraxx� Tsunami� Digital Sound Decoder that will operate on both DC and DCC controlled layouts.
